Santa Fe TX Senior Photographer | Rustic Country Senior Session Inspiration
It’s hard to believe, but this sweet senior officially wrapped up my Class of 2026 senior season — and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a more fun way to end the year.
As a senior photographer serving Santa Fe, Alvin, Pearland, Houston, and surrounding areas, sessions like this are always some of my favorites to photograph. This session was full of laughter, sunshine, country charm, and one senior who was completely willing to trust the process, even when some of my ideas probably sounded just a little ridiculous at first.
From sitting in the middle of a field to spinning in circles until she was dizzy, she jumped right into every suggestion with such a good attitude and sense of humor. Sessions like this are always my favorite because the more relaxed and willing a senior is to have fun, the more personality shines through in the final images.
And can we talk about her graduation stole for a second? It was one of the prettiest and most unique ones I’ve seen this year and photographed so beautifully during golden hour.
For this session, she requested a rustic country location, so we headed out to one of my favorite rustic senior photo locations near Santa Fe. This spot has everything I love for senior sessions:

It’s one of those locations that gives such a relaxed Texas country feel while still creating timeless senior portraits. Rustic country senior pictures like these are perfect for seniors wanting a relaxed, natural session experience that still feels stylish and fun.
This senior session also marked the close of a really exciting year for me. I was so excited to have photographed 25 seniors during the Class of 2026 season, and I’m incredibly grateful to every family who trusted me with such an important milestone in their lives. Watching these seniors step into their next chapter is always such an honor, and I truly can’t wait to see what the Class of 2027 brings.
