Having worked with many families in the last 15 years, I have come to realize that everyone has different needs and visions for their session. I may not be the perfect photographer for everyone, and that’s ok! After you complete the contact form here on the website, I would love to chat on the phone for a few minutes. If you just hate phone calls, we can chat over email or by text, too! This phone call is simply about getting to know each other. I want to hear all about your perfect session so I can make sure I can provide the absolute best experience for you! This is not a sales call. There is no pressure to book. I simply want to make sure you get the experience you deserve, even if it’s not with me!

Once we have decided that I am the photographer for you, we will set an appointment for your session. I will then send you a contract and an invoice for your $100 retainer. Once your contract has been signed and the retainer fee paid, you will officially be on my calendar!

Your family session should be all about fun, not stress! Before your session we will choose the perfect location and talk about what to wear, what to bring and all of your ideas. You will receive a prep guide that tells you exactly what to do before your session and what to expect as well. You are welcome to contact me by text or email any time before your session if you have questions or want to discuss anything.

This is the exciting part! We will meet at your chosen location and decide how we want to begin. Family sessions are relaxed and full of fun. I love to capture authentic moments instead of just poses so we will move around, play games and snuggle. I will guide you through everything so don’t worry about not knowing what to do!

After your session, I will send you an online gallery so you can see your images and select the digital images you’d like as well as prints and products. Finally seeing your images is always an exciting time! Your gallery is also sharable with friends and family.
