Newborn Sessions
Your little one has arrived!
It’s cliché, but so true! They don’t stay little for long, and that is never more accurate than when they are a newborn. A newborn session captures all the little details that change so quickly so you can remember these early days forever!
Newborn sessions can take place in the studio or your home. These sessions are a combination of lifestyle and posed. In home sessions will be more lifestyle oriented while studio sessions will be primarily wrapped and in props.

Step One... LET'S CONNECT
Having worked with many families in the last 15 years, I have come to realize that everyone has different needs and visions for their session. I may not be the perfect photographer for everyone, and that’s ok! After you complete the contact form here on the website, I would love to chat on the phone for a few minutes. If you just hate phone calls, we can chat over email or by text, too! This phone call is simply about getting to know each other. I want to hear all about your perfect session so I can make sure I can provide the absolute best experience for you! This is not a sales call. There is no pressure to book. I simply want to make sure you get the experience you deserve, even if it’s not with me!

Step Two... LET'S MAKE IT OFFICIAL
Once we have decided that I am the photographer for you, we will set a flexible appointment for your session based on your due date (or how old your baby is if they have already arrived). I will then send you a contract and an invoice for the $100 retainer. Once your contract has been signed and the retainer is paid, you will officially be on my calendar!

Step Three... LET'S PLAN
Having a new baby can be stressful, but your newborn session shouldn’t be! Before your session we will talk about colors, themes and all of your ideas. If parents or siblings plan to be in the images, we can talk about your wardrobe as well. You will receive a prep guide that tells you exactly what to do before your session and what to expect when your arrive as well. You are welcome to contact me by text or email any time before your session if you have questions or want to discuss an idea.

Step Four... IT'S SESSION DAY
It’s time for your session! Depending on where you are having your session, we will meet at my studio, or I will come to your home. Before the session begins, you will feed and change your baby. After they are all fed, I will get get them all cozy and wrapped. Newborn sessions are baby-led so we will stop if they need to be fed or changed. A little fussing is normal, but if they do not settle quickly, we will stop so they can be soothed. During the family portion, I will give you prompts on what to do so you don’t have to be concerned about how to pose. I love to capture authentic connection and I like to keep everything as relaxed and natural as possible.

Step Five...AFTER YOUR SESSION
After your session, within 3 weeks, I will send you an online gallery to choose your images and products from. The gallery is sharable with friends and family!
Investment Details
Newborn Retainer Fee $100 (Due at booking to reserve your appointment. Retainer in non-refundable in the event of cancelation, but will apply to your session balance )
Collections
Newborn Mini Session - $250
Newborn Mini Sessions are available in our Alvin Studio on weekdays and include only baby. Sessions include wraps, headbands, and 2 props. Five digital images of your choice are included. Sessions are up to one hour in length.
Newborn Collection One - $450
This newborn session takes place at our Alvin Studio and includes wraps, headbands, and props. Parents and siblings can be included is desired. Ten digital images of your choice are included. Sessions are typically one to two hours in length.
Newborn Collection Two - $650
This newborn session takes place at our Alvin Studio and includes everything in collection one as well as twenty digital images of your choice. Sessions are typically one to two hours in length.
Newborn In Home Lifestyle Session - $800
In home life style sessions take place in your home and are meant to capture all the love between baby and family. One wrap and prop will be included with the session, but the majority of images will be organic as opposed to posed. Thirty digital images of your choice are included. **Travel fee may be incurred if location is more that 30 miles from area code 77511.
