The Strand

The Strand is one of my favorite Galveston locations when you want something completely different from the beach. Historic architecture, colorful buildings, brick streets, interesting doorways, balconies and layers of texture give us an incredible amount of variety within just a few blocks.

It's especially fun for senior sessions because we can move through the area and create completely different looks as we go—from polished and classic to colorful, urban and a little edgy. The Strand also pairs beautifully with the beach, making it possible to have both an urban and coastal feel in the same Galveston session.
