Because one day the house gets quiet…

I can still remember when it wasn't quiet at all.

The slammed doors. The endless questions. The piles of shoes by the back door. The feeling that there would always be one more game, one more bedtime story, one more ordinary Tuesday.

For a long time, it felt like those days would last forever.

But chapters turn whether we're ready for them or not.

Now the house is quieter. The children who once filled every room are building lives of their own. The chaos is gone, but the love remains.

And maybe that's why these moments matter so much to me.

Because the little things are never little once they're gone.

The Stories Came First…

Long before I ever picked up a camera, I was telling stories.

As a kid, I'd make up elaborate adventures for my friends. I'd watch people in restaurants, stores, or walking down the street and imagine entire lives for them. Every person was a character. Every conversation was part of something bigger.

When I became a mom, the focus shifted. Instead of imagining stories, I found myself creating a place where my children could live their own—where they could chase adventures, dream big, and become the heroes of their own lives.

As the years passed, I found myself wanting to hold on to those moments, not just imagine them. To preserve the chapters that would someday become memories.

The medium changed.

The curiosity never did.

This Chapter Matters Too.

Where These Stories Unfold

Based in Alvin, Texas, I photograph families, seniors, maternity, and motherhood stories throughout Brazoria County, Galveston County, and the greater Houston area, including Pearland, Friendswood, League City, Santa Fe, Angleton, Lake Jackson, and Galveston.

Some stories are rooted close to home. Others begin much farther away. Whether we're meeting on a Gulf Coast beach, in a family home filled with history, or somewhere entirely new, I'm always willing to travel for a story worth telling.
